The abbey garden is so-called because of its magnificent aspect above the ancient ruins of Easby Abbey. Its sweeping ‘infinity’ lawn is separated from the fields by a ha-ha.

There are two garden rooms bordering this lawn. Firstly, the heated Summerhouse perched on a terrace surrounded by grasses and perfectly positioned to watch the sun setting over the Abbey. Secondly, The Hideaway, an open-fronted stone room with a log fire and dining and reclining seating.
